Train 10 women in knitting

Make this gift and help 10 women to learn knitting, courtesy of the Ulusi brand.

The women will be able to knit sweaters, baby shawls and others and be able to sell them and thus earn and income with which they can support their families. We will train and provide wool and starter resources to set them in motion. We will share photos and videos with you as well.

Poverty alleviation

Alleviate extreme poverty

This gift will provide immediate poverty relief to extremely poor family, mostly those headed by children.

We will provide blankets, fortified flour, soap, sleeping mats, a mosquito bed net, buckets, cooking oil and other supplies.

The food is enough to sustain a family of 3 for a month.

The nearest school for some girls is 5 kilometres and walking to and from school is often a challenge for girls.

Provide a solar lighting kit

Your donation will provide a solar lighting kit to a child in rural Malawi.

This system has a built-in radio, enabling the beneficiary to keep updated on current affairs and latest information on livelihoods development.

It also has a phone charging port, enabling the beneficiaries to charge their dumb phone, thereby being able to communicate. They are also able to use the phone for mobile money, thereby enhancing their financial inclusion.

Water and sanitation Malawi

Provide portable water

Your gift will provide portable water and hand-washing facilities to a community of more than 1,000 people.

We will set up a water-point committee to supervise the borehole, carry out maintenance and ensure that it also sustains other community initiatives such as school feeding and tree planting.
