What constitutes misconduct?
Defrauding the organisation, asking for sexual favours or money in exchange for a job or support, having a sexual relationship with a minor or a beneficiary are some of the behaviours that we consider misconduct. This list is not exhaustive.

Will I be protected?
Yes, we try our level best to protect whistleblowers. However, you may need to provide witness accounts if required. We will ensure that witnesses are protected and may cover incidental costs in certain circumstances.
How can I know that my report has been acted upon?
Urunji will provide updates every last day of the working week (typically Fridays).
How soon will the report be acted upon?
We strive to act within the shortest time possible. Be sure to report to the police if the type of misconduct is criminal in nature. Examples include rape, physical assault and others.
What reward will I get for reporting misconduct?
We do not typically offer financial or material rewards. However, we will if funds permit, cover the cost of your travel by bus and other incidentals up to MWK 100,000 as long as our Executive Director pre-approves the expenses. You may also qualify for the Urunji heroes award.
