Donate your birthday this year to help women at Nyemba Village
We will use your donation to support a social enterprise for women at Nyemba Village in T/A Chadza, Lilongwe rural. Empowering women with a livelihoods development programme ensures that we address the root causes of poverty and is a stepping stone towards financial independence.
Why a social enterprise?
Giving aid is not sustainable. Giving a skill and ability to generate income is. This is why at Urunji, we have set up a number of programmes aimed at giving women an unprecedented opportunity to economically transform their families.
Angelica donated a friend's birthday

Nicole donated her birthday
Nicole, a young woman from Cape Town asked her friends to donate to Urunji instead of giving her birthday presents.
Nicole's birthday falls on Christmas day so she asked us to throw a Christmas party for children.
A total of 83 children and teachers from Chilembwe Village in rural Malawi had a memorable Christmas and the teachers went away with hampers.
