Volunteering in Malawi: Legal requirements
Volunteering in Malawi is deemed as employment and all international volunteers are required by law to have valid work permits, no matter how short their stay is.
To ensure that we comply with the law, we are only able to take skilled volunteers who will work with locals to pass on the volunteer's unique knowledge and skills over a maximum period of 2 years.
