If someone is trying to live only for himself, without offering any benefits to others, he does not deserve to live. Because his life has no meaning, and the life, as we know it, is tough and has no mercy. Then it is better for a person who realizes the truth of life to be good, generous and support others.
As Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” From this statement, we can deduce the first seed on which Non-Government Organizations and charities were founded. In my country Syria, people have suffered from war for the past seven years. They have experienced living in a world full of poverty, hunger, homelessness and disease.
By taking a holistic view of the world, we can find many countries suffering from these problems. Regrettably, they are difficult to be solved by the efforts of countries’ governments or by individuals’ efforts. This necessitated the intervention and efforts of many international non-governmental organizations, for example the various United Nations programs, furthermore; this led to the establishment of several charity associations. Through the experience of my country with these organizations and charity associations, they had a major role in human and construction rehabilitation. Every educated or capable person in my country should ecplore opportunities to contribute through one of these organizations. This includes giving as much knowledge and effort as possible to help children and people affected by violent war. Through this experience, I noticed the impact of raising awareness, initiative in youth has a broad and comprehensive impact on society and with strong support for these young people through humanitarian organizations, everything that has been destroyed can be reparation in the structures and minds of people.
When all of us support these organizations even by small contributions or donations, especially those who helps children by focusing on their education, health, and nutrition like Urunji Child-Care Trust it allows us to dream of a bright future for our children. Children all over the world have a right to be educated and to have the opportunities to make their lives better and so we allow them to participate in building their future and countries or maybe one of those children can have a fingerprint in the world.
